Through fundraising, community events, volunteering and partnerships with local organisations, the P&C works to provide additional resources, equipment, activities and opportunities that complement the work of the school and directly benefit its students.

We are seeking the support of our local community

As we establish and grow our newly reformed Association, the support of local businesses and organisations will play an important part in helping us achieve our goals. We would be sincerely grateful for support in any form, including:

• Financial sponsorship or donations towards P&C initiatives, projects and events;
• Gift vouchers, products or prizes for raffles, competitions and fundraising activities;
• Goods, equipment or materials that can assist the school community;
• Professional services or in-kind support for P&C projects and events; or
• Ongoing community partnerships or sponsorship arrangements with the P&C Association.

There is no contribution too small. Whether it is a donated raffle prize, assistance with an individual event, or an ongoing partnership, every contribution helps us do more for the children and families of Cessnock Public School.

Recognising our supporters

We believe that community partnerships should be mutually valued. Where appropriate and subject to applicable school and P&C policies, we would be pleased to recognise the generosity of businesses and organisations supporting our Association. Recognition may include acknowledgement through P&C communications, social media, newsletters, fundraising activities, community events and other promotional opportunities. For businesses interested in establishing a larger or ongoing partnership, we would also welcome the opportunity to discuss a sponsorship arrangement tailored to your organisation and the type of support you would like to provide.

Cessnock Public School is an important part of our local community, and we believe that when families, educators, community organisations and local businesses work together, we can create opportunities for children that extend well beyond the classroom. We understand that businesses receive many requests for assistance throughout the year, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to consider ours.
